An Aviation Insurance policies has two basic parts: Protection against damage to aircraft, written on an 'all risk' basis. Protection against liability suits arising out of the ownership or operation of the airplane. There are five sections of liability coverage: injury to persons voluntary passengers, injury to passengers, property damage, medical payments, voluntarily settlements. A number of other miscellaneous aviation policies are also available: Hangarkeeper's liability protecting against liability for the aircraft in the custody for repair or storage.

Airport liability - protecting all liabilities, much like a commercial liability
